Live analog synthesizers - Sonic Robot on the synthesizers.com, Eurorack, Moog, soundtrack filmscore
Published on Jul 5, 2018 pwsynth
"This is a live song using both digital and analog synthesizers. The synthesizers.com is a Moog 55 style modular system using the Q960 sequencer for the bass line and Q119 for the three note chord pad. Rhythm comes from the Korg volca beats, the Korg SQ-1 sequencer to the MS-20, and 4MS Eurorack drum module. Higher pitched parts are the Ladik sequencer, to Make Noise STO, Optomix, Maths, and Echophon. Low pitched drones are from the Xiosynth and Polivoks style DIY Erica synths. A few of the modules I made, including the Moog style ladder filter, a tube distortion, and analog VU meters."

"At the core of the instrument is a versatile mini patchbay that provides expansion and modification permutations and a grid-like visual representation of patched parameters using coloured jumpers. The patchbay encourages interaction with the instrument and playfulness.
The printed circuit board artwork, with a black and silver finish, has multiple touch electrodes in the form of small squares that provide a labyrinth of possible connections and resulting behaviours. Different rhythmic sequences are created through hybrid 4-bit binary coding, feedback loops and bit bashing.
Dirty Electronics Mute Synth II (MSII) features:
# Noise generator
# Feedback
# Oscillator
# Wave shaping (triangle - square)
# Buffered output
# Sequencer
# External clock option
# Touch and knob/potentiometer controls
# Mini patchbay
# Dotmatrix display (external module - not included)
# PCB artwork
# Bend and hack points
# Expansion board capability
# Mini jack/headphone output
# Battery powered (9v battery not included)"

Free Pocket Operator PO-32 Tonic drum synth sounds & patterns 5 by Roikat
Published on Jul 5, 2018 Roikat
"Free sounds for the Teenage Engineering Pocket Operator PO-32 Tonic drum synthesizer! CAUTION: there's a loud and unpleasant PO-32 modem tone around 1:58. This is sound and pattern data for the Pocket Operator PO-32. Please backup your own PO-32 sounds and data by recording a data tone before proceeding with sound transfer.
This PO-32 bank is tuned to G minor. I'll be releasing a number of PO-32 sound banks in additional keys.
Download bank 2: https://youtu.be/bo0Gp5BgBD8
Download bank 4: https://youtu.be/a8EZ3cmadwo
The PO-35 Speak can also allegedly load and play these sounds (with reduced polyphony.) If anyone has a PO-35 and wants to try it, please let me know in the comments if you can successfully load the sounds.
If you wondered why this video is mentioned as fifth in a series, but there are currently no first and third videos: my ancient video software is struggling to render them, so I've decided to release the PO-32 banks in the order the videos render rather than the originally intended order.
All sounds programmed in Sonic Charge MicroTonic by Roikat."

Sonicsmith ConVertor+ Introduction
Published on Jul 5, 2018 Sonicsmith
"An introduction to the ConVertor+ Audio Controlled Synthesizer.
The same semi-modular 9V pedal PSU or battery powered analog synth as the previous model. Using the ACO100 chip it can detect the pitch of an incoming audio signal and play along analog synth waves without never going out of tune.
The Pitch CV out along with ENV, gate & trigger CV outs, you get the full blood stream of modular synthesizer elements while staying analog throughout.
The new + version full list of changes:
The biggest difference between the ConVertor and ConVertor+ is the conversion of the input low-pass filter frequency shift knob (on the left directly below the IP GAIN, or preamp gain, knob) into a gate threshold adjustment knob. This is most useful in situations with lots of background noise (like microphones in a live performance situation). The same change was made on the Squaver P1+ vs. the Squaver P1.
