SH 7 Saw Sync.

"The is a saw sync patch running through a Specular Tempus reverb. Interesting note, the SH 7 has three envelopes 2 ADSR's and one A D, the A D envelope is a pitch envelope for flute windwood effects. It has negative and positive range like the filter envelope. Here I mainly use sync with a quick A D envelope setting. Mainly for a bit of bite. Portamento is set on low as well."

OB-6: Wagner: Elegy (WWV 93)

"Wagner's beautiful, languid 'Elegy', here performed on the OB-6. Very reminiscent of "Tristan & Isolde", Wagner's harmonic masterpiece (Tristan is possibly the greatest development of harmony of the entirety of 19th century composition).

If playing this piece on piano, I'd change chords quicker. But on the OB-6, I'm simply enjoying the sound. The little bell-like sounds: these are the product of the ring modulation.

The piece is trickier to play on OB-6 than on piano, due to the limited voices of the OB-6. A good stretch is also required (i.e at c.1:00 the LH is stretching a minor 10th, and at c.1:22 there's a minor 10th in the RH).

Getting very classical of late. Next video will be more typically 'synth' in style.

This unit has been fully serviced and calibrated :

- All the faders and rotary potentiometers have been cleaned and lubricated.
- The LFO board has been fixed.
- The PSU has been improved.
- Some not responsive faders have been changed.
- The VCO boards have been meticulously checked and calibrated.
- The SH-7 have been calibrated to the closest factory specifications.

The shape is excellent, It looks like a museum piece of art, as you can see on the pictures in full resolution."
