AJH Patch of The Week: Choir Pad 2 - with Wave Swarm & Fixed Filter Bank 914
video upload by AJH Synth Official
"Here is a continuation of an earlier video showing how to create an all-analogue Choir-like sound, similar to those heard from vintage synthesisers such as the Roland VP330. Last time I used just a standard VCO into VCF setup/synth voice, with modulation to simulate a human, organic sound from the oscillators. This time I'm using the AJH Synth Wave Swarm for this purpose, and the Fixed Filter Bank 914 for tone shaping: The Fixed Filter Bank is more suited to this than a regular VCF, as a single filter will only allow a single frequency range to be added to (or subtracted from) the tone of the sound, whereas the filter bank will allow multiple frequencies to be cherry-picked and boosted based on what is needed to create the final sound.
It's worth also watching the previous video for additional ideas to further build on this sound, including pitch modulation. 'Choir Pad 1' can be found here: [posted here]

All you wanna know about Wingie2
video upload by Meng Qi
"In this video, I show the basic functions of Wingie2 by performing it with Kalimba, Wing Pinger & Mannequins modules. However, I'm expecting you to be more creative with Wingie2. Looking forward to your performance. Wish you enjoy!"
Playing The Roland Juno-106 Analog Synthesizer (1984)
video upload by OMNIVI3E
"We used the Roland Juno-106 analog synthesizer in many of OMNIVI3E's tracks, notably 'Let Me Know Tomorrow' by Millie Page. In this video, Andy Whitmore demos the synth and shows you the capabilities of this keyboard."
"Systematic Speculation" | Chilled, Funky & Dubby | Eurorack Patch
video upload by Electronisounds Audio
"I used the Mutable Instruments "Branches" module to get some random happening on my drum triggers. The kick drum and snare drum both *sometimes* trigger a secondary sound in a completely random way for the entire jam. On top of that, almost every part has some level of probability on some steps of each pattern. (I love the Erica Synths big sequencers for this type of stuff!)
Lastly, the Assimil8or (eurorack-uber-sampler) allows stacking of 8 samples into one slot, and triggering them back randomly, where each time the slot receives a trigger signal - it randomly chooses one of the 8 stacked samples to play back. I recorded 8 live-played chords/keys stabs/riffs into one slot and triggered them back utilizing that random playback feature as well.
GOOD TIMES!!

Moog Grandmother | Analog Bonanza x4
video upload by Mamotreco
"Four layers of unadulterated analog majesty thanks to the Moog Grandmother and its rich synth tones unleashed. Bask in the meaty synthesizer timbres of this unique Moog synth. This eminently playable electronic instrument confidently handles leads, bass, and synth sequences without breaking a sweat.
#moog #analog #synth
Moog Grandmother is a worthy descendant of the Moog modular synths of yore. It's semi-modular design along with sequencer and spring reverb makes a sound synthesis lab par excellence.
However, it's not just all blips and bloops, the Grandmother is begging to be played. Make no mistake this is a complete synthesizer instrument. Monophonic for sure, but a player's delight nonetheless. To be clear, this synth was purchased with our own money but that doesn't stop us from waxing lyrical about its musical capabilities.

Analog Video Glitch Processor T-420SE by LoFi Future
video upload by LoFiFuture
"Available To Order Here: https://www.lofifuture.com/storefac96...
LoFi Future T-420SE - analog video effect processor
The T-420SE Is a variation of the original T-420 circuit, providing a new palette of hyper neon glitch FX in the same compact form factor as our other models.
After much experimentation and fine tuning, the result is a glitch processor that is great at pushing video signals to the extreme without things getting out of hand. It retains bright vivid colour at its most intense moments whereas effects such as this usually result in complete chrominance (colour dropout)
The T-420SE also features a true bypass toggle switch on the rear. When bypassed the video signal makes a straight pass through the input to the output meaning you can leave it in your signal chain and it wont degrade your signal in any way. This feature goes a long way in complex chains and feedback setups!
It's definitely recommended that you use the T-420SE with a CRT, TBC or Video mixer (with a built in TBC) But it will work with a conventional LCD tv or a cheep composite to AV converter. It follows the same rule as the other T-420 models where as it only tends to drop out (lose signal) when the first knob is past 12 o'clock.
100% original analog circuit design, designed from the ground up for its very purpose!
High quality white ABS enclosure
Transparent knobs
FX bypass toggle switch
Composite video In/out
5V DC input ( Standard 2.1 x 5.5mm DC connector) -- PSU is NOT included
NTSC/PAL Compatible
Weight: 90 Grams
Dimensions 113mm x 44mm x 67mm"
