Step 8 is a sequential sampling register capable of sequencing, burst generation, gate delays, analogue shift register, hocketing, mute interjections, clock divisions, graphic oscillator & VCA-like behaviour … I could go on, the list of potential is HUGE!

The video roughly follows an order from more basic functions to more advanced, each patch offers a different musical example of that function and it serves as a tutorial to do lots of things with Step 8, learning its functions along the way.
