I have the Oberheim Matrix-1000 analog synthesizer since the 90s. He was one of my first synths ever. It is a very powerful polyphonic analog synthesizer with a variety of options for influencing the sound. Analog sounds are a lightness but also sounds that one would rather attribute to a hybrid synthesizer.
You hear a single sound demo without additional effects. The chords are similar in order not to be distracted by playing technique and you can fully concentrate on the sound character. The sounds are all from the RetroSound Set that I programmed a few years ago. It includes 100 new sounds for the Matrix-1000 and Matrix-6/6R

You can load the midi file in your sequencer software, play the file and the synth received the sound data and overwrite the the first sound bank (0-99) with the new sounds.

ARP Solus Monophonic Analog Synthesizer with Built-in Case SN 2353329

"1980 Arp Solus monophonic analog synthesizer in excellent condition. All sliders, keys, inputs, outputs, knobs and functions work as intended. The synth was regularly serviced and calibrated. The Arp Solus is light and built into it's own hard shell case, which makes it optimal for touring.
Only 500-600 of these were made. This one is serial# 329 (2353 is the model # followed by the 3-digit serial). This was the last monosynth that Arp produced before shutting down in the early 80s.
I'm going to say something controversial - I think the Solus is both unique from and superior to the Odyssey. It was designed with synth leads in mind - probably to appeal to touring musicians who wanted a lightweight, compact synth to put on top of their big CS80s and PolyMoogs. In my opinion, the quality of sound is where the Solus shines. The design of its filter is the result of years of learning from bugs and mishaps on the Odyssey filter. The Solus includes truly explosive FM, ring modulation, and reverse envelope capabilities in place of the Odyssey's S/H circuit. The Solus' oscillators are also variable waveforms, unlike the Odyssey's square or sawtooth waveforms. The Solus is very loud and present in a mix - perfect for bass lines and leads, whereas the Odyssey sits a bit further back in a mix."

All sounds made using the Keytek CTS-2000 and Roland DEP-5 Effects Processor.

"Greetings, I'd never played an Oberheim synthesizer until now...this thing sounds incredible to my ears...so much fun to play with or without added effects, though in this case i am using the Lexicon PCM70 for reverb.
I've started working on sounds for this synth. For now just want to give you a taste of what this synth can do, hope you enjoy the sounds!"
