CUNSA v/s FUMANA: The same patch on two different filters!

video upload by Frap Tools

"A few years ago we animated a bass line through Fumana for a short video. It was a cool experiment, so we decided to do a step-by-step guide. And then we thought that it would be fun to replicate the same patch concept on Cunsa, a totally different filter that shares with Fumana basically just the size. Which one do you prefer, if any?"

Korg MS-50 Autoplay #1: part 5/5 | sequential patch #korgms50

video upload by Dr. Kunz

Korg MS-50 Autoplay

"Fifth and last part of a sequential patch with VCO and VCF cross-modulation, combined modulation voltages, rhythmic pulses and two independent audio outputs. Different level settings in the Adding Amplifier can produce a variety of patterns from the combination of two envelope curves and a pulse, displayed on the voltmeter. The remaining free modules can be integrated to further expand the patch complexity.
This video is a fraction of an hour long experiment around this patch, I've shortened and divided it in five parts to make it more accessible. The wiring is presented at the beginning of each video.
Thanks to @IppeiTambata for his inspirational looping machines.

Effects: Yamaha SPX-90II stereo echo, Korg SDD-3000 short modulated delay, some level and eq adjusting on the Mackie 1402.

3/17/24 (bass version) ElectroComp EML 200 + Lexicon PCM 70

video upload by Cfpp0

"Some more RoboCop from the ElectroComp EML 200. Similarly hysterical patch as in the previous 3/17/24 EML 200 video, but more of a bass version this time, with lower tuning on each VCO, different on times for the spring reverb running into the switch, and a bit less swung."

Asking synth manufacturers to say the F word...at London Synth & Pedal Expo

video upload by mylarmelodies

"Being a collection of interviews I shot at the London Synth & Pedal Expo '24, after they hired me to cover the event. The format was up to me. So I put the SAME two questions to industry folks at the show: 1️⃣ What is your favourite thing you sell? 2️⃣ What your favourite thing you DON'T sell?"

Good people make for good events and good gear, so lets meet them // London Synth & Pedal Expo 2024

video upload by DivKid

"What an amazing weekend we've just had! Here's a video with some of the people at the London Synth & Pedal Expo 2024. Held over this past weekend (Saturday and Sunday the 16th+17th of March 2024) in Studio 9294 in Hackney Wick, the London Synth & Pedal Expo is a free to attend show with plenty of synths, modular and pedal FX on show for people to come and play with.

As it takes good people to make good events (and the good gear we love) I wanted to focus on the people, asking who they are and what they do, more specifically how would they explain what they do to someone with no idea about synths, pedals and music tech. That led to some funny answers, all spread around various bits of b roll and footage from the event."

Nibbler Bassline | Schlappy Patching with Stazma

video upload by SCHLAPPI ENGINEERING

"Episode 5 for Schlappy Patching!
In this one I'm going to show you how to use the "clock divider" patch from the Nibbler manual, but at audio rate, to generate some funky basslines that are always in tune with your main VCO!
I'm also going to patch a big fat kick drum and a sidechain circuit using Interstellar Radio, 100 Grit and a few Boundary to go with these basslines.

It's going to be fun!"
