The Drum Machine That Shaped Krautrock

"The Elka Drummer One is no Klaus Dinger or Jaki Liebzeit, but it deserves its place in the history of Krautrock drumming. It was used by a bunch of German bands at the time, most prominently the wonderful Harmonia, a supergroup consisting of members of Neu! and Cluster (some of which where involved in a short-lived iteration of Karftwerk, too). "Own a piece of history - the Moog Sonic 6 - and also my first ever synthesizer! It comes in its own suitcase with a power cord and the original manual. As noted in the condition description, this synth has multiple issues. Most importantly, the keys, particularly in the higher registers, do not consistently trigger the sound. The video [on eBay only unfortunately] demos some sound generation and also the key tracking glitches. Also note that the pitch isn't steady after a while, noticeable when you use both oscillators, which you will most of the time.
Lots of knobs and sliders to twiddle with, sculpting the sound. Truly an OG experience.
It does have an external input that can be connected with the ring modulator for cool distortion effects. I used to run my Wurlitzer electric piano through there."

Logan String Melody II Vintage String Synthesizer

"Power supply recapped, 3 prong cord attached, refurbished by the magicians at Bell Tone Synth Works in 2022. This synth is ready for another few decades of lush stringing.
This is a classic string synth like the ARP Solina, but with more features.
The keyboard is split in the middle so that you can have a different mixture of Cello, Viola, and Violin and different Attack and Sustain settings for each section. There is also a bass oscillator and a feature called “perc” which is a deep, percussive sound similar to an upright bass.
This Logan String Melody II is in good cosmetic condition. The tolex is a bit worn, but is in overall great shape. The Veneer has a few splits or cracks. There is some minor dirt and scratches, as to be expected with a 40-year-old synth!"
