"Berlin-based keyboardist Tim Sund will play live on the C15 synthesizer to give an impression of its sonic and expressive possibilities. Tim will play fresh examples of advanced sound design and also use the new features of the synth engine that are part of the upcoming firmware release.

In the second part, Stephan Schmitt, the founder of Nonlinear Labs, will join him and give some explanations about the instrument and its ongoing technical development."

"In 1971, the congenial mathematician, quantum physicist and room acoustics expert Michael Gerzon published an article about a reverberation device. The device in question used a matrix operation to rotate two signals inside each other. He concludes in his article that it would be impossible to build the device using existing technology.

In this conversation concert, we present Gerzon's device, re-imagined as a resonator. Its complex analogue circuitry is based on two bucket-brigade delays and an analogue rotary operation. Thanks to this circuitry, our new Eurorack module produces rich harmonic and inharmonic spectra, creating physical and vivid sounds with astonishing depth and detail. For the first time, efficient physical modelling synthesis is possible in an analogue signal path, going beyond the usual harmonic string sounds and opening up fascinating new soundscapes. The Resonator offers a wealth of parameters, yet remains intuitively playable, inspiring audiences and performers alike."

"Veteran modular synth maker FLAME from Berlin highlights its 2024 range of modules, starring their flagship modules TAKT & FIRE.

The 8-channel rhythm sequencer and 8-track drum synthesizer were introduced last year here at Superbooth and this time you'll witness the raw power with a live showcase in the auditorium brought to you by LA-based techno-artist & YouTube host TROVARSI.

Vienna-based producer and long time Flame collaborator Felix Bergleiter will give you a brief overview of the modules - including one or the other 60 second jam - and of course answers any questions. You'll also get a glimpse of their brandnew modules (e.g. TON, a new melodic looper module), which are shown in detail at their booth in the Bungalow-Dorf."
