"For sale is a rare vintage Ensoniq Fizmo Transwave digital keyboard synthesizer. This is a cool unique sounding synth. Includes external wall-wart power supply. Previous owner mentioned that the common rectifier issue has already been repaired. It's tested and working but has some minor issues. The screen appears to have some minor damage to it (still functional) and the envelope section does not appear to function properly (could be user error, but some settings it does not seem to apply the ADSR as expected). Due to these issues it is sold as-is, no refunds, returns, warranties or guarantees. Priced lower accordingly. Otherwise everything appears to be working as it should and it's still very usable and sounds nice."

"Novation Supernova II 61-Key 24-Voice Virtual Analog Synthesizer. Tested and fully functional, OS V1.5. It's in great shape overall with only minor signs of wear. Includes pictured softcase as well as the original owner's manual. We just had the DAC replaced (common failure point in these), so there should be no worries there of having that part fail again in the near future."

"The keyboard less DX-11, the TX81Z is a four operator 8 voice polyphonic synth. This specific example is in excellent condition. There's some slight rack rash and light scratching on the top case, but it's tested and working and ready to go."

"Used DX7S in very good condition, this unit includes a power cable, an original hard shell case, and a DX7S ROM cartridge.

Even with it's god-tier status in the 80's synth world, the Yamaha DX7 and its counterparts still remain reasonably priced (all things considered). Don't let the word digital throw you off, these things are truly starting to become cult classics. This DX7S may not be as iconic as the DX7 it succeeded, its upgraded 16 bit digital to analogue converter and doubled memory capacity make it a solid upgrade from the original. The synth works well and its Taco Bell bell sounds even better than you remember! As with any vintage/used device, this synth has some minor scuffs and scratches present. Its overall condition is quite good however with very little wear and tear (not major dents or plastic knockout and almost no signs of play wear to speak of). The DX7 family definitely won't stay this cheap for long, so get them while they're hot!"

"This Roland Alpha Juno a little rough around the edges. It looks like there's some missing screws, but we're guessing these are from the impact points on the side. Although cosmetically this synth isn't perfect, it's been tested to be fully functional without any issues. With digital synthesis being the "hot new thing" in the mid 80's when this guy came out, the Alpha Junos were put at a disadvantage upon their release. Nowadays, we have learned that all types of synthesis are valid and we appreciate their different sonic characteristics; making the Roland Alpha Juno series of synths a wonderful and unique example of analog synthesis going into a digital era."

"Pristine condition system 700. My tech replaced the trigger selector switch and evaluated it when I first got it and said everything was super clean and in great shape on the inside. No need to replace any caps, everything has already been done. Comes with lid and keyboard. Sounds just as fat as my vintage moog model 15 but has a bit more character on the high end."

arbhar - Working With Pre-Recorded Samples

video upload by Instruō

"In this video Sebastian Lexer (Designer of the arbhar) takes you through an in-depth video guide to the arbhar functions available in arbhar v2’s Clone/Load/Save menu.
It allows working with pre-recorded samples, layer audio and preset loading and saving options from and to a USB flash drive.
The first chapters relate to Clone/Load/Save menu controls and sample audio formats. The tutorials on layer cloning, loading single and multiple audio files into individual layers are followed by discussion of loading and saving entire Scenes that allow the user to load the entire audio content and configuration of the arbhar in a single action. In between there’s a short tutorial on how the Onset detection can be used for ‘finger controlled’ sample triggering.
The video is wrapped up with an overview on how to obtain and manage the Instruō arbhar Sample library and a ‘secret’ method of how to create a quick custom preset setting that is loaded on booting up the arbhar.

Enjoy arbhar samples.

ROLAND SH 101 (SERIAL NO. 00002) DEMO

video upload by Synth Tailor Electronics

"Here's a little demo on what I believe to be the second made Roland SH-101 Red monosynth. If you look at the serial number it is: #00002, which indicates to me that it's the 2nd synth in the production line.
Besides, the cool history from the owner, the SH-101 packs a lot in such a small package! It has a 3 Waveforms, PWM, LFO, Sequencer, Arpeggiator, and lots of CV input/output controls. It was made very popular in the 1990s for 'House Music'
This SH-101 needed the Power supply rebuilt, the sliders replaced, full calibration/tuning, power switch replacement and the keybed cleaned/rebuilt. Enjoy the video! Thanks for watching!"
