DSI Poly Evolver soundscape with emotive pads
video upload by MIDERA
"Just pulled this out to see what it can do for me. Sometimes I forget how interesting it can sound, and, maybe more to the point, how good a 4 voice synth can sound.
I’ve just been going back and forth between trading this for a Moog Muse. In the one hand, I haven’t played my Poly Evolver much, on the other hand, if I sell it, the prices are getting crazy and I’d probably never get one again.
Sigh… no idea.

"Assign 2 CC/NPRN per knob for macro control!
Excellent condition. Updated to latest OS 4.55 to work with Shik’s latest web editor. Can store 3 layouts. Setup 1 is currently defined to support the Vongon Replay synths deeper MIDI parameters (Preset sheet included).
Create banks of your own MIDI macro knobs by stacking different CC’s, NPRN, Prog Change, Aftertouch and SysEx ranges on top of each other
Works perfectly - The N32B V3 is a sleek and portable MIDI controller that gives you more control over your music. With 32 high-resolution knobs, you can manage multiple parameters with a single knob, making your workflow easier and more creative. Each knob supports 2 customizable macros, plus SysEx and high-resolution control, making it great for both DAW and DAWless setups. Or use in traditional single CC mode."

8/31/25 (transpose) Roland CSQ-600 & System 100m & RE-301 + Alesis MIDIVERB II
video upload by Cfpp0
"We bought this Roland CSQ-600 “serviced” but there’s something wrong with it. Sometimes you go to record and it’s just silent, or the first few notes are silent. Anyways, we’ll get it fixed. Today I managed to record one sequence of notes into the CSQ-600 from the Roland System 100m 181 keyboard, then used the 181 to transpose the looping CSQ-600 sequence. This transposed sequence is modulating two 110 VCOs, and the 140 envelope is controlling the 110 VCAs. Offscreen I’m increasing the sustain and release, pretty much the whole time. The two 110s get mixed on the 130 mixer and the mono output is sent to the Roland RE-301 for tape echo, while the stereo reverb is preset 12 on the Alesis MIDIVERB II.
