Brussels School Diaries, Day 6 : "Draco" | original electronic music jam

As far as I'm concerned, 2025 will have been marked by the rise of a musical movement that defines me, that suits me. A movement that I arbitrarily named Brussels School, in a very unmodest homage to the Berlin School movement.
For me, electronic music must above all be a piece that takes you on a journey, a piece with a soul that tells a story, not a technical sound demo or some random AI soup...
So, let me remind you how I define this movement. And again, I'm not claiming it's new or exceptional; it's simply the style of electronic music I like to produce and listen to. The album in early 2026 will simply be the conclusion of all my work in 2025.
'Brussels School' can be defined in this way: "haunting and captivating electronic music. A fusion between trance music and electro-ambient. Hypnotic vibrations that transport you. A paradoxically warm and cold magnetism, a refined sound that lulls the listener into a long, minimalist, repetitive and yet captivating and trippy rhythm"

"A piece created with @MoogSynthesizers Moog One, @NordKeyboards Nord Lead, and field recordings from the streets of Tokyo — an ambient electronica work where simple, steady performances unfold amid the city’s diverse sounds.
The Moog One performs the harmony, while the Nord Lead plays the melody, processed with deep reverb using the @gfisys Specular Tempus.
The field recordings were captured with an iPhone, then edited in a DAW and processed with reverb, bit reduction, and delay effects."

"Solina String Synthesizer (s/n 0136882) 1 of only 100 made, a combination of the their String Ensemble, and ARP's Explorer 1 monosynth. Good physical condition - check photos - but not fully operational. The strings work except there are issues with some G’s and F#’s (probably divider chips). The Synth section VCO is working but the filter has problems, which seems to be a faulty cutoff slider. The LFO is not working. So basically, the solo synth section is not working. 220V version (UK plug)."

"This Oberheim DX has been equipped with MIDI from the factory, and has been fully restored electronically. Every button and switch has been desoldered from the board, cleaned in isopropyl alcohol, and treated with Deoxit D100. All sliders cleaned and treated with Deoxit. Has a new RAM backup battery installed (in a new off-board holder), as shown in the photos, and all factory patterns have been reloaded. Works flawlessly. Has firmware version '2'."
