I think allot of the presets are made for use with a sequencer or robot , & the internal sequencer is a good place to start. "Here is another original tune of mine on the Prophet-6 synthesizer....it is called, PLAY HAVE FUN.
I kept coming back to Preset-317. It inspired me to write this tune with a Pop Ambient quality. The Korg M3 contributes a piano synth sound & a beat. I add some EQ from my Roland Mixer to the drums & Piano section."

"My edit of preset 296, which gets into a liquid organ sound. Evolution 16 is the name I put on this melody.
Remember Ozric Tentacles & their bubbly liquid sounds ,well here is my attempt on the Prophet-6
To get this sound I increased the Sustain & Release on the Filter & Amp Envelope, added Sync to Osc 1 & Low Freq on Osc 2. Tweaked the Aftertouch, Sub Oct & Env Amount. Also used an Expression Pedal to dial in the Liquid."
