"New April 2024 JEC James Edward Cosby iVCS3 Preset Bank '11-Eleven' containing 211 presets, the first 140 are playable and the remaining 71 are Sequences, Drones and self playing patches. The bank also comes with 51 accompanying CV/Audio files providing some processed Audio and Envelope / LFO CV Structures which can be used via the input channels to modulate destinations via Matrix Rows 8 and/or 9. These files may be used in your own non commercial patches to add extra functionality like percussive envelope transients and specially designed LFO shapes and fx. The first 4 Presets are related and can be morphed using the Snapshot Pad while being played via an external controller... The bank contains 10 presets from each of James' four current IAP Preset Banks and 10 from the New 2019 release 'Synths and Explorations' Bank, making 50 free presets in total. The EMS-50 Bank also comes with 15 specially designed audio files which enhance iVCS3 with DK/Seq syncable LFO's and Envelopes which can be used in your own personal presets**

"Short demo performance of iVCS3 JEC 2019 Preset Bank - Preset "JEC Inter-City Seq" taken from a soon to be released 2019 Preset Bank... Endless fun...

This preset uses a punchy JECV Envelope encoded File fed into Input 2 to modulate the Filter via Matrix Row 9, the filter is also Inversely Frequency Mapped to the Sequencer Notes. The percussive sounds are provided by the noise module set to high colour and filtered. The sequence is interpolated to give the illusion of layered sequences...

The original was produced using a hardware CMI but anyone with an iPhone or iPad, can get a good approximation using the Peter Vogel CMI App available on the Apple App Store...

The #CMI App does not have a low-pass filter so subsequently the resultant drone is brighter than the released version therefore a low-pass filter or eq will be required to adjust the tone to match the original. Oh and wear headphones!!!

The Fairlight samples and settings used are as follows... (Only one note is used per voice to match the original hardware and to increase the tuning and pan spread for a very wide stereo mix.)"

"Hi, this takes my Audio CV idea a step further into Realtime Audio Voltage Control. The #MoogModel15 is patched to output it's LFO directly to the 15's Audio Bus, this bus audio is routed via #APEMatrix directly into #iVCS3 's Audio Input Lines. iVCS3 is patched to run a sequence using Osc1 & 2 via iVCS3's Filter, the CV Audio arriving in iVCS3's Input 2 is then patched to modulate iVCS3's Filter Frequency!... Have fun!"

The iVCS3 global parameter... "Samplers Enable Loop Points Fade"
MUST be set to "OFF" To allow correct processing of the contained CV Modulation Files thus preventing crossfading of the transient.
