Musical greetingcard drummachine, first tests

YouTube via JvGrieken | August 13, 2010

"This idea was inspired by this excellent topic over at EM: http://electro-music.com/forum/viewto...

I was using my 4017/4066 sequencer wich is gating a hallmark musical greetingcard wich plays the song "twist and shout" by the Top notes. I used 2 oscillators and a xor gate to affect the timing resistor causing the pitched sound.

Going to try multiple cards and more messing with the timing resistor next."

Missa Lux (Lightdance)

YouTube Uploaded by JvGrieken on Dec 13, 2011

"12-12-2011 @ HKU school for arts, Utrecht.

I've always wanted to combine dance and light with my work in electronics and music. So I made a light sensitive wireless suit wich translates the light intensity from various parts on the body into raw midi data.

More info(including arduino code and how it works):
http://jochemvangrieken.wordpress.com/

Thanks to Charlie Duran for really showing what the suit can do.

This is just the first in a series of projects involving the suit so stay tuned for more."
