This was a fun tune to make. I'll upload a separate video explaining the gear I used for this tune. The footage is from Astoria and Cannon Beach Oregon. We were checking out the Goonies locations. :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! :) Sam."

"Japan" with Roland SE-02 and TR-08

Published on Jul 30, 2018 Machiwoomiapoo

"I've been pretty busy lately. Here's a little tune I made for Japan. I love visiting this country. And I always feel like I belong here. This video shows some of our trip with students, friends, and family. I used the TR-08 for the drum beat and triggered the SE-02 to play the patterns I created. Then I played the SE-02 over the top for the lead. I'm using my old Tascam DP-004 to record my tunes. I'm glad I still remember how to use it. Please Subscribe, Share, and Leave Feeedback. I love hearing from all of you. Please stay in touch. Take care, Sam."

"'Spin' with Roland Juno 106, Juno 60, and TR-909
I'm back. Sorry for taking so much time off. I really wanted to make some tunes this last couple of months, but I've been too busy working on my National Boards renewal. Here's a little ditty I made with the Roland TR-909 on the drums, Juno 106 on the BASS, and the Juno 60 taking the LEAD part. Thanks for listening. Take care and have a wonderful day! :)"

"Earth Day" with Roland SH-101, TR-606, and Strymon Big Sky!

Published on Apr 22, 2020 Machiwoomiapoo

"'Earth Day' with Roland SH-101, TR-606, and Strymon Big Sky!

I'm trapped at home, so I decided to look at all these photos of the various places I've been and dream about seeing more soon. I received the Strymon Big Sky pedal yesterday and @Michael Smith suggested I use it with the Roland SH-101. So, I programmed up a basic sequence and used a simple beat with the TR-606. Please let me know what you think. Take care, Sam."

"J-6 is Back" with Roland Jupiter 6, 8, Juno 60, 106, and TR-808

Published on Dec 14, 2019 Machiwoomiapoo

"Well, I managed to get half the studio together, so I decided to celebrate the return of the Jupiter 6 from the repair shop. First I programmed a drum pattern in the TR-808, then a BASS line with the Juno 106. Next, I used an Arp sound with the Juno 60, and added some support with the Jupiter 8. Finally, the Jupiter 6 is on Unison/Solo mode to shine during the solo. Let me know if you enjoy the tune. Please subscribe, share, and all that. Take care! Sam."

"Hang On" with Roland Jupiter 8, Juno 60, Juno 106, JX-3P, Korg Porlogue, and TR-808

Published on Sep 25, 2019 Machiwoomiapoo

"'Hang On' with Roland Jupiter 8, Juno 60, Juno 106, JX-3P, Korg Porlogue, and TR-808
Hello Everyone! I was inspired to write this tune today. I used the Jupiter 8 on patch 35/12 in dual mode for the intro. Then I pre-programmed the TR-808 drum pattern and sync'd it to the MX-1. The Juno 106 provided the BASS on patch 48 with Chorus and the occasional Boss DD7 Delay/RV-5 Reverb. Next the JX-3P used the string patch to play the main them. The Korg Prologue used the "Fantasia" patch to play the minor section. Finally I used the Jupiter 8 Strings in a tune followed by the outro patches which began the tune. Thanks for watching! Take care, Sam."

"Soaring" with Roland SH-101 and Korg Mono/Poly

Published on Jan 6, 2020 Machiwoomiapoo

"'Soaring' with Roland SH-101 and Korg Mono/Poly
This is my first tune with the Korg Mono/Poly. I used different timbres for the 4 poly voices offered on the Mono/Poly then I put a little SH-101 echo on the main phrase. I added some effects with the eventide pedals. Thanks for watching! Please subscribe, share, and let me know what you think. Take care and have a Happy New Year! Sam."

"Red" with Roland TR-8S, MX-1, TB-3, Juno 60, Juno 106, and Korg Prologue

Published on Sep 24, 2018 Machiwoomiapoo

"'Red' with Roland TR-8S, MX-1 TB-3, Juno 60, Juno 106, MSQ-700, and Korg Prologue.
With this tune I recycled an old drum beat off the TR-8S and sequenced the Juno 106 (Bass), Juno 60 (Pads), and Korg Prologue (Atmosphere) with the MSQ-700. The TB-3 takes a part in the middle and there are plenty of effects via the TC Electronics T1, T2, and Alter Ego x4. Please let me know if you enjoy it by leaving some feedback. I appreciate all your support. Take care, Sam."

Korg Poly-800 Demo

Published on Jan 24, 2018 Machiwoomiapoo

"Here's another demo. This time it's the Korg Poly-800 from the early 80's. I love the sounds in this classic synthesizers. If you add a little reverb and delay it's magical. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe, share, and leave feedback. I'd love to hear your opinions on the Korg Poly-800. Take care and have a wonderful week. Sam."
