Vogelsheiss Outed

I've been randomly putting up some amazing demos by Vogelsheiss. Well, his treasure chest has just been outed on AH. Title link takes you there. The coolest thing about this is he lists the gear he used for each track. I really wish more artists did this in the synth community.

BTW, an easy way to get me to post your music is to do just that. If you have a track or more that uses a given synth or two, feel free to send it my way. As long as I'm not overwhelmed, I'll post it. Or... You can always sign up on SYNTHWIRE and post away yourself. : )

EMS Patch Sheet

Via AH. The good old days. This is how you used to have to save patches. Pencil and paper. Title link takes you to a bigger shot.

Univox MR-12x - New Flickr Shot

Update: Link to a virtual MR-12 via keyboardmuseum.com. Fun stuff. : ) Also make sure to track back for more virtual machines.

More shots by tekoki_fan. This one of a Univox MR-12x Micro Rhythmer.

Korg MicroKorg Sample

Via premieklovn on this VSE thread I posted on earlier. There are other updates as well. Title link takes you to premieklovn's sample that is 100% MicroKorg.

A Macbeth M3X up on the *bay.

The Octave Catstick

This picture came up in my random picture viewer. It's an Octave Catstick, a modulation controller with joystick, two LFOs, and four VCAs. Title link takes you to a Sound on Sound article on the Octave Cat which briefly mentiones the Catstic.

Pugix - New Modular Synth Site

Via AH. Title link takes you there. Enjoy.

"This is my MOTM-style synth, in the works since August of 2002. I started this monster after happening across the Synthesis Technology site of Paul Schreiber. Way back in the 1970's I became interested in modular synths. I had met a composer who was using a big studio Moog at SUNY Binghamton. He took me along and let me play with it. The concept of voltage control hit home and I've been fascinated ever since"

ISP Problems Again

So, my ISP, ACE-HOST.NET aka ACENET INC claims to be "Hacker Safe" and guarantees 99.99% uptime. Well, my site has gone down three times. My blog was suspended with no support other than I was eating up CPU time on the shared server it was on. I ended up moving my blog over here, to blogspot.com which has given me 100% uptime. Go Blogger!

I left all my old shots on my old blog to save space and because it would be really painful to move them over. Well, I ftp into my ISP and my freaking blog directory is EMPTY. All my old shots are gone! My old posts have red x's now instead of pictures. I contact support and they say my blog looks fine. My guess is they're looking here. I hope they see this. They also say I should keep my software up to date because of malicious scripts. Umm... I thought they were hacker safe.

So... If you see red x's on any old posts. My apologies. I'm off to upload my backup. These guys absolutely suck. Let's see what happens next. Every time they mess up one of my sites, I will be sure let you know.

JH Synth Site

I recently posted about the JH Synthi clone and the Matrix FX by JH. Well, I recently discovered his main synth site. I had no idea these two items were just the tip of his iceberg. Wow! Title link takes you to his site with a ton of other work he has done. Absolutely incredible. If I put up a post for each of his accomplishments, I'd probably have enough content for a month.
