"A beautiful example of this classic early Casiotone full-sized keyboard. Its upper body is all metal, tastefully finished in a very fetching 'wood effect' livery, and its base is genuine plywood! This is the forerunner to the mini-key MT-70, which Hot Chip used all over their second album, 'The Warning', and almost all the sounds are exactly the same (I've just bought the MT-70 and compared the two).

Here's the spec:

"This is one of the most, if not the most versatile, feature laden modular envelope you can get. The ability to use CV's to control so many of it's parameters makes it amazing. Unlike a vast majority of the modular envelopes on the market, you can set up complex ways of modulating the attack, decay, sustain and release of the envelope, instead of being forced to twiddle knobs with just your two hands to do this on the fly. This thing can really come alive as a result of these options. Of course, if you don't have extra CV sources yet, or you just want to use your hands to work the knobs, you can do that as well."

It is also intended for creating some musical effects in cinema and play scoring, in studio. There are 4 octaves on the keyboard. The inclined desk is divided into the following functional sections: Modulator, Generator #1, Generator #2, Mixer and Amplifier. They give one a possibility to synthesize a broad spectrum of sounds and to change sounding at any time. There are 3 internal audible signal sources in the instrument: to broad-ranged of the Generators with changed form of oscillations and a noise generator for creating a non-musical sounds such as wind, surf, whine, etc.Possibility to connect an external audible signal sources to the synthesizer is provided for (e.g. guitars, electropianos and electroorgans). Sounds of different external sources are combined separatly in the mixer in any ratio. There is a filter in the synthesizer with cutoff frequency control and resonance to change colour of timbre of audilble signal over a wide range."

Improv with Ultranova & Roland SH32

YouTube Published on Aug 26, 2012 by hdebbache2000

"Hey there, this is my latest improv. A lot of things have changed since my last appearance, gear & all. I am trying to adapt my gear to better integrate into my DAW workflow (Ableton Live), and because of this I have acquired an Ultranova. The Roland's time in my studio is counted though...

Other than that there are some sampled loops playing, a Synplant VA VST(controlled via android tablet), and a Hartmann Neuron (AKAI LPK25 mini keyboard)."
