MIDI Designer Pro

"Midi Designer is a Midi Controller builder. Before I continue, you should know that Midi Designer doesn't send Midi notes. Only Midi CC. For this reason you will not be able to play notes on a Keyboard or Drum Pad module with this App. Despite this, you will be able to control all the parameters of your synthesizer with the Midi CC. So know let's talk about the special features of Midi Designer... If I'm a keyboard player, I can control a Synth on my Mac or PC with a USB Midi keyboard, and If I've also got a pedalboard connected to my iPad... I will be able to control my synthesizer by adding modules (Knobs, Slider, Crossfader, X / Y Pads, Label, Button & Button Square, and Panel) on Page. Note that a great feature allows you to create a sub-controller very quickly (read the tutorial). These modules will be created on Pages. You will be able to switch easily from one Page to another, to arrange them, to display two pages on screen, to change the aspect... But behind these Pages,... are Pedalboards! You will be able to create your own custom Pedalboard. When done, (it works like the Pages edit), hide it by scrolling the Pages over it! Midi Designer is really steady, it works very well. It's easy to use too... It is a Killer App! Note that it is not the purpose of Midi Designer, but I would really like to have a keyboard module... I forgot to say that you can save 20 presets, save and send them by email, and share them with another Midi Designer user..."

A Quick Run on Yamaha MX61

Published on Feb 10, 2013 AudioCentralMagazine·113 videos
Sequence starts at 303.

"Yamaha MX61 Synthesizer is heavily focused on performance; there isn't the MOTIF in deept editing and you can only modify the very very main synth parameters of sounds. You can play two different parts in Split or Layer; the remaining 14 parts are available for composing/arranging/performing thru MIDI/USB with bundled Cubase."

Elektron Analog Four + Octatrack Psytrance Jam

Published on Feb 10, 2013 Jimmy Myhrman·28 videos

"Jamming with a psytrance-pattern och the Analog Four. Octatrack does all percussion and drums, and does some master filtering etc as well (Analog Four is routed through the Octatrack)."

Resonator Neuronium 2

Published on Feb 10, 2013 d4nnyp·16 videos

"Another video getting to know my Resonator Neuronium. I used a Signal Arts Tetra MAPS to sequence the RN this time. The MAPS is a brilliant sequencer and works very well with the RN, 6 8 step sequence tracks were used, some with different lengths, the sequence wasn't tweaked while recording. All sounds are RN (Apart from Kick drum which was made with my Bugbrand Modular (just an SV filter pinged and CV'd from an envelope) with delayed reverb effect from Eventide Space."
