Vile Electrodes The Last Time [with most things] Unplugged

Published on Sep 27, 2013 Vile Electrodes·6 videos

"Live, stripped down, recording of The Last Time in the Vile studio. I was hungover and pasty, so kind of hiding behind my pop-shield, but I also thought you'd see a bit more of my face than you can Soz, and all that. The Swan was feeling camera shy (for the first time in his life)."

Vile Electrodes: The Last Time

"A little video for the title track from our second EP. Filmed in our lounge in about half an hour* and then edited and argued about for over 3 months.

I performed the song really slowly over a full 24 hours and then we sped up the footage, hence the fast moving clock-hand. OR MAYBE WE POSSIBLY DID IT ANOTHER WAY!

I hope you like it.

*Apart from the clock footage, obviously. That took 12 hours."

"No time for clips and pre production model but whatever initial emulation is (I think SH-101) in there rips as I had hoped......."

"This is like owning an SH-101 or SH-2 in total replica - if you load the SH-2 Model - you have a four voice SH-2"

Yamaha CS-60 Demo 3: "Controls"

Published on Feb 17, 2014

"Third demo since I got the CS-60... recording thru a Sound Blaster Audigy, reverb and chorus from Renoise. This is showing a custom patch with only adjustments being made to the performance controls: after touch, ribbon control, lfo levers, etc... this is not showcasing any virtuoso style keyboard playing."

"This has been stored since the mid 1970's, it was used very little and never left the home, unfortunately, the owner nor I really knows how to operate it, It does power up, when putting the pins in we do get sound although some of the pots are dirty but did get cleaner when moving them back and forth as well as when using the pins, so I have to sell it with knowing that we could not fully test the unit and can not tell you that it is 100 percent, in which after sitting awhile it is going to need serviced and or repaired if necessary so no guarantee's but you are getting an investment as you know they are rare and desirable, the case looks great , couple of corner nicks, we did get both channels to work, and the speakers, joy stick etc, but thats as far as I can say, so SOLD AS IS, with no returns or Partial refunds comes with a manual and some extra pins and power cord, you can pick up or I can meet you within 100 miles of cleveland, shipping will be through fedex and I will double box with padding and bubble wrap with peanuts, USA only"

"This is a beautiful synthesizer. You need to look pretty hard to notice the couple of minute imperfections. It was re-capped and completely serviced at Portland Custom Shop here in PDX. It has the complete Kenton CV/Gate kit installed, giving you control of both upper and lower OSC, individually or together. It's also got sweet custom endcaps and cheeks :)
The keybed is bright and springy. All pots and sliders work well. This thing hasn't really seen a lot of use. I never thought I would see one of these, let alone own one... sad to see it go."
