via the seller: "This listing is for an extremely rare and quite possibly the cleanest ever Jomox Sunsyn 8 Voice Analog Synthesizer with OS 1.22. It has been living in my smoke free home studio and never left my house. It literally looks, feels, and operates like brand new, and has been extremely well taken care of. It includes both wood side panels and rack ears. This synth is extremely versatile and replicates everything from swelling Jupiter pads, to warm Boards of Canada styles pads, to strong leads or being a monster with aggressive powerhouse up front analog bass and leads. This is my favorite synth I've ever owned but alas I now have two kids and a full time job and cannot justify owning this synth any longer. I certainly hope it will find a great new home."

"The video was shot specifically for this auction, and is intended to showcase the unit's functionality. On startup, I turn the power/volume knob fully in both directions to show no static/noise. After starting the pattern I demonstrate the full minimum and maximum detent of the sound shaping controls. Then I stop and go into writing mode to make a pattern to demonstrate button and led functionality."

"In excellent working condition. Unit is very clean inside and out, with normal wear (no major gouges or dents in plastic), with the bulk of blemishes being on the under side of unit - minimal wear/blemishes on the face of the unit. All 24 tactile switches have been replaced, since several were triggering mulitple notes when pressed once. 688-SKQEAA (MFG Part No:SKQEAAA010) from Mouser Electronics were used. The new switches are sealed and provide a slightly smoother 'click' than the original (very nice feel to them, I think). No static or noise in the volume knob or other knobs. Jacks/ports, power switch, waveform selector are all clean and function well. NO Corrosion anywhere, including the battery compartment. The only problem I know of on this unit is with the battery the cover - it still fits in place and stays where it should, but there is a crack in the tab that WILL eventually break (see picture above!). Also pictured are the old tactile switches vs. new tactile switches. POWER SUPPLY AND OPERATORS MANUAL NOT INCLUDED!"

Arp Pro Soloist Synthesizer Keyboard with Original Logo Flight Case

Some history via the seller: "Up for sales is an Arp Pro Soloist Synthesizer keyboard. I purchase this keyboard in 1976. I believe that this unit was manufacture in 1973 if my memory is correct. In the fall of 1976 I saw Steve Walsh of the group Kansas play an Arp Pro Soloist, and I ran out that same week and got myself one. I sounded GREAT! I am the second owner of this instrument. It has been stored (smoke free, pet free) for the last 30 years when I put it in storage.

When I got it out of the basement in June and I was surprised that after 30 plus years in storage, it need very little restoration work. It has never experienced a breakdown and thus has never been repaired or modified. I don’t have the owner’s manual anymore, but as far as I can tell, everything is working properly. From what I remember not all touch effects are available on all presets. This was by design and is not a defect. The restoration includes;

1) Polish and clean keyboard bus and contacts
2) Spray clean and lube sliders
3) Cleaning inside and out of the entire instrument

If you are a purest of the Pro Soloist, you will notice that it is missing the original slide knobs and music rack. The slide knobs came off fairly easily, so most musician just removed them. Another Ebay listing has the knobs. Also included in this listing is a new, custom made road case for the Pro Soloist (see pics). Here is a list of what is included in this listing;

1) One (1) Arp Pro Soloist Synthesizer Keyboard Model 2701 – Serial Number: Can’t Tell
2) One (1) Extra Arp Pro Soloist Road Case Sticker
3) One (1) Custom build road case w/custom inserts
4) One (1) Arp Pro Soloist Service Manual

COA/CGS/Serge Edelweiss/Vintage Voltron Modular Synthesizer

Published on Jun 8, 2015 Musaceae

"Welcome to my new channel of music created using Buchla & DIY Serge/CGS modular synthesizers.

This video is a self-running patch using two of the CGS/Serge panels I have built recently. The Edelweiss panel by wiggler nordlead) & COA Vintage Voltron 3 Sequencer panel. There are no dedicated VCOs or VCFs in either panel, Serge Universal Slope Generators (USG) are used for all sounds.

The bass/chord sound is sequenced by the left programmer/sequencer section of the VV3, which drives two USGs in cycle mode. These two notes are mixed and sent directly to the output. The notes for the melody use the four rows of the right hand programmer/sequencer. All six Bidirectional Routers are used in this patch. Three of them are used to switch the row that is sent to a single cycling USG producing the melody. The other three routers switch the direction and rate of the clock signal driving the sequencer. The control signals that drive the routers are derived from the two Gate Sequencers with a random element introduced by the Edelweiss Sample/Hold section.

The melody output is passed through the last USG in low-pass filter mode, and then processed by a DIY RandomSource Wave Multiplier/Resonant EQ module, which is out of shot in the video. The only external processing is the delay and reverb on the melody."

BPMC/FOLKTEK "Apparition" video eurorack module for indiegogo

"Video for the indiegogo campaign; https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/bp...
mostly filmed and edited by Arius Blaze.
music "apparition" by Arius Blaze"

"Folktek (folktek.com) has been around for years, creating hundreds of unique audio instruments and oddities. BPMC (glitchart.com) has gone the route of video; modifying and creating glitch video fx processors.

After a good deal of development we bring a collaborative video module offered here at the dealer price.

Apparition

A simple but effective video eurorack module designed around a camera sensor board to simply output and alter what the lens sees. Video can be altered within the module and sent straight to a monitor or projector or passed deeper into video synth modules and devices, the signal can be further altered, opening up an entire world of crazy visuals.

Send the signal straight to a small monitor (we may be making a small LCD monitor module accompaniment in the future as well), or a projector for live performance or ambiance in the home environment.

Perhaps the greatest feature of this module is the simplicity with which it provides; to have a root video element without the need for any external video. It acts as a first-in-line video element to be further manipulated.

Phantom and Mirage

On board controls include two knobs which introduce the abstract; phantom and mirage, as well as a CV input to further alter the signal and synchronize with your sound. In the end, what the lens sees can become a drastically altered version of reality.

Apparition has a standard composite RCA video output and though the proto module shown in the photos and video don't accurately reflect it, the final module has distinct labeling indication for modes, in and out..."
