"This rare early digital preset synthesizer powers on and is partially functional. The top 3 octaves play the internal preset sounds, some of the other control buttons seem to function, but the overall sound seems off and is severely out of tune.

"This unit is in perfect condition, all sliders, buttons, knobs, switch work as new. Although this unit is marketed for it's famous Roland effects, the TB303 emulations, Bass synth and drum machine combined with the sequencer make it above and beyond just an effects box. I have run a Roland D70 106 SH3, Akai AX60, Hohner Bass 3, Korg EMX1, E-Mu Morpheus and MC303 with Epic results."

"Fully programmable. Semi-weighted 61-key keyboard. Over 1,000 parameters per patch. It combines additive synthesis and PCM sampled waveforms to layer and combine to design a whole range of sounds. Plenty of LFO modulation, filters and envelope controls to shape and morph sounds. On-board multi-effects. It has a 40,000 note capacity and 40 tracks. Real-time record and step-edit modes are available and the sequencer is pretty straight forward. 12 dedicated knobs for hands-on control of filter, LFO and envelope parameters. There are 4 user-definable knobs and 2 assignable switches. The K5000S also has a 40-pattern arpeggiator on-board with 8 user-definable patterns. K5000's have been used by Kraftwerk."

...recently serviced it, cleaned all pots and contacts. 100% functional and clean. The only cosmetic flaws are two scratches on the backside of the device.
It comes with 11 additional EPROMs I purchased off Winecountry a few years ago with following sounds
