Here's a interesting bit of synth history. If anyone out there knows more about this, please let us know! You can find a handful of posts featuring Don Muro in the archives here.

"Original boxed lesson plan for college level introduction on synthesizers. Complete with film strip, record to accompany film strip, teachers guide book, 32 original copies of the test, pamphlet from 1978 Don Muro workshop , 2 copies of products and services and original box. There is a spot for a cassette inside box however my research makes me feel you could specify record or cassette versions. There is no cassette present.

The record and filmstrip appear to be in un used condition. Very unique piece as i have collected this stuff my whole life and never seen another."

ELTA Music Devices PLL Analog Harmonic Synthesizer

"The PLL, from Elta Music, is a replica of the Schumann PLL, an analog harmonic synthesizer. It turns your input signal into a square wave, and then multiplies or divides the frequency of that square wave, providing overtones and undertones from the original pitch, with extreme timbral intensity. The signal can be multiplied and divided simultaneously, providing an effect like chords. The tracking of the pedal can be adjusted according to the loop track control.

PLL Features
Phase Locked Loop pedal
Replica of Schumann PLL
Division and Multiplication of input frequency
Chord playing type mode"

"Incredibly rare late 70s/early 80s analog synth. The case has got some scratches and you can see where the Multivox stickers were removed, otherwise it's in pretty good condition. All the knobs and switches work, only exception is the random sound switch is broken. You can still manipulate it, though. There's no label on it to indicate serial number/year/etc. This thing sounds really good!!"
