PV44 playing chords on the Acid Rain Technology Chainsaw (patched sequencer out of logic modules)

video upload by XODES

"After discussing how to use PV44 to create chords lately, it felt like showing it actually can be done may be more efficient than long messages.

It all started with some cheesy Wham Christmas song programmed on a Beatstep Pro for which PV44 made chords out of a monophonic CV signal.

Instead, and even if it may not make much sense to most, it looked more interesting to demonstrate a sequencer patched from scratch on the same occasion!

In this short example a sequencer is patched from existing and forthcoming logic/switch based modules that create control signals for PV44 and triggers for the drums sounds.

A single clock passes through a shift register and trigger skippers to create multiple trigger sequences.

A switch alternates between 2 voltages and goes to the PV44 modulation input. The A/B/C outputs control the Acid Rain Technology chainsaw's 3 CV inputs through some quantizer to play different chords."

S-4 Explorations: Midi controlled sampler

video upload by torso electronics

"Hook up a MIDI keyboard or sequencer and use S-4 as a powerful polyphonic textural synthesizer and sample player. Transform your sound into glittering textures or broken soundscapes through granular processing, morphing resonator, destructive effects, reverb, and delays.

Moreover, the S-4 is a versatile powerhouse capable of serving as a real-time effect processor, transformative sound designer, or live looper."

Jean Michel Jarre - La derniere rumba - The last Rumba - Magnetic Fields 5 - ELKA X705 test drive

video upload by adamstan84

"Finally I finished repairs on this organ, and it's fully functional. So to test it out, I recorded this classic piece, which originally was also performed on this instrument.
I played the melody in the way that's closer to the live version from 'Concerts in China' than the album one. Hope you enjoy it :)"

Roland GAIA 2 + TR-8S "Earth's Calling" - synth jam by gattobus

video upload by gattobus

"A quick jam with GAIA 2 and TR-8S.
I'm using a tone I have just created, called 'PolyPrisma' and a Drumkit composed mainly of CR-78 ACB models that were added in the latest TR-8S 3.0 update.

Just a synth and a drum machine, no other gear involved and no external effects added.
Everything's been recorded straight to my audio interface.

I hope you like it!

Cheers!"
