Random Reaktor Stuff 05

Published on Nov 8, 2013 BrontoScorpioMusic·6 videos

"Yay! Another Reaktor jam!

The rate of the trigger sequencer gets modulated by the rate sequencer while the sample sequencer chooses which samples gets triggered.
The sequencer then triggers the choosen sample and sends triggers to the "Trigger Counter".

The "Trigger Counter" simply counts the incoming triggers and triggers the kick on each event, the snare on every fifth event and so on.
The synth and sub voice choose a different pitch from some predefined values on each trigger.
The sub voice (which is a simple triangle wave) also gets "ducked" by the kick.

The sampler gets processed by the "Sound Destruction" instrument, which gets modulated by some recursive LFOs.

The whole thing then goes through some light EQ and saturation."

My First Pure Data Patch by BrontoScorpioMusic

Published on Nov 6, 2013 BrontoScorpioMusic·5 videos

"I just found my very first Pure Data patch! I made this a few hours after I got PD some months ago.

It's a really silly patch, but it sounds surprisingly "good" for such a simply probability based thingy."

Random Reaktor Stuff 04

Published on Oct 15, 2013 BrontoScorpioMusic·4 videos

"Yet another random Reaktor jam.

The "Drum Seq" instrument triggers and randomizes the drum synth while the "Poly Tune" instrument triggers a simple sine wave synth with some reverb."

Random Reaktor Stuff 03

Published on Oct 10, 2013 BrontoScorpioMusic·3 videos

"Another small Reaktor jam using some unfinished instruments.

The "Drone-Osc" uses a weird combination of phase modulation (like in the DX-7 and other FM synths) and phase distortion (Like the Casio CZ-1000). It can easily go from warm tones to harsh noise!"

Random Reaktor Stuff

Random Reaktor Stuff 01

Published on Oct 8, 2013 Dennis Harms·2 videos

"I just threw some of my small Reaktor weekend projects into one ensembe to see how it sounds like, you can hear and see the result in this video.

All the instruments in this ensemble are just ideas or prototypes or however you want to call it. Especially the "Circle Seq" thingy is a really basic idea I realized very quickly yesterday, I have quite a few cool ideas where to go with it though (Recursive modulation between the LFOs that run the sequencers should be fun for example!).

I'm doing nothing is this video by the way, all the instruments are entirely self running.

Sorry for the bad video quality, one day I'll learn how to use all this fancy video stuff."

Random Reaktor Stuff 02

Published on Oct 8, 2013 BrontoScorpioMusic

"Another random Reaktor jam using some of my smaller, unfinished ensemble ideas.

I'm controlling the routing matrix of the Node Seq via a MIDI keyboard, everything else is self running. This ensemble does not use any samples, everything is generated in realtime."

Vember Audio Surge Demo #1

YouTube via BrontoScorpioMusic
"Dieser kleine Track ist ausschließlich mit dem Vember Audio Surge entstanden. Kein externen Effekte, EQs etc. wurden verwendet."

"This little track is created exclusively with the Vember Audio Surge. No external effects, EQs, etc. were used."

"Binary is beautiful

A digital recording is just a sequence of numbers. Easily quantifiable as ones and zeros, stored on physical media, combined together into larger numbers to form a continuous stream of data.

Until you listen to it. Then it becomes real.

Surge is an instrument capable of generating truly beautiful sequences of numbers. Your ears will agree with us.

More than the sum of its parts

Architecturally speaking, Surge is a rather complex synthesizer. But because of how it's put together it's still easy to learn. Once you do, you will turn the sounds in your head to audio faster than ever.

The effortless workflow, attention to detail and the sound quality can't really be appreciated without trying it yourself. We suggest you try the demo!"

Reaktor Fun

YouTube via BrontoScorpioMusic

MFG
Dennis"

Googlish:
"A short session with a fast reactor improvised ensemble.

It will be played 2 loops synced with the crossfader you can move between the loops and insipid ago.
The pads can be at different positions of the loops (16 step jump).
There's also activate a Bitcrusher the man, and settle in its intensity, can
The first regulator pitcht the loops and the 2nd writes the signal into a buffer as soon as he leaves the 0-position. This buffer is reproduced and extended by the regulator.
There are also slider for the volume of the two loops and an overall volume control.

The ensemble is absolute nonsense, and really only meant for fun;)"
