I am sooo loving it's character, I really can make some
close John Carpenter synthesizer sounds with this,
(The Thing, Escape from New York, ETC.) It's better
than my old PROPHET-600 (non-modded) did at it as
a matter of fact!!! I'd love a newly upgraded Sequential
Circuits PROPHET-600 -THAT WOULD ROCK!!!
Hum.... I'd LOVE a Sequential Prophet-6 even more!!!!!!!
Anyways, here are a few demos of the "Hollow Pad"
sound, a Jupiter-like sweep sound, a Funky Bass line
tweaked into oblivion & a Trance Pad... or whatever
the kids are calling it today... LOL!

The Sequential Split-Eight (1985) AKA: PRO-8
I've really gone & done it. This synth is so cool!
How to describe such a RARE SYNTHESIZER...
--with all of it's character & vintage quirks.....
As quirky as a Prophet-600 (tuning, voicing, MIDI)
..as mean as a Prophet-600 (If you know what you are doing)
It's knob-less to the knob jockey but it's POWER is easily
accessible thru the IN YOUR FACE menu diagram right in front
of you... such a breeze to tweak... and after a bit you get it
& it is SO FUN to make new sounds! Worth the $$$$!!!

In this demo I show off some custom sounds & I tweak
them into sonic mutations.. this synth (and other SCI kit)
is so cool & all have a distinct sonic character different
from ANY other synth in the studio. Even against new
DSI gear.. Original Sequential Circuits gear still holds it's
sonic charm, allure, worth & POWER! I love it!!!

The SPLIT-EIGHT is SUPER RARE on the market...
I was calling all of my spirit guides & demigods to help me
on this transaction.. but here are the HARD FACTS PEOPLE...
If you EVER expect a second hand vintage synth to be
FLAWLESS (unless completely refurbished) be ready for
a serious surprise... expect SOMETHING quirky at least...
I have had more than a few vintage synths like this... :0
(It's 2017 for goodness sake! LOL!!!)

The Split-8 sounds cool, it's useful for today's vintage standard.
But expect some tuning issues randomly, voices not following
the filter or some amp settings like all of the other voices...
There are a few moments in this video demo that show it...
Wine Country might be your friend for a few months...
(But hey, It's good to be their friend, they are awesome!!)
That being said having some SWEET vintage kit is cool &
such an honor to have! It says a TON about your synth taste!
I like how this synth can pull up sounds not like anything else.
I am going to post a few more videos of this RARE SYNTH soon.

The incredible Yamaha DX200 is back in full force,
adding a little ACID TB-303 love and some intense
Industrial beats & grooves in this video demo.
Audio was recorded a little bit lower than last time
to avoid any clipping but there is some slight
clipping @ 01:01 & 01:41. So be careful my friends!
Such a fun groovebox to tweak, just a BLAST
to shape the sounds on the fly & get everyone
excited on the dance floor!!!
Yamaha, we could use another groovebox
or Loopfactory like this again, especially with
the new FM-X technologies of the Montage.
It's now 2017. How about it??

A one-of-a-kind modified Roland Juno-106 with the special SAW for the SUB which adds a more aggressive side than the regular stock Roland Juno-106. This Roland Juno-106 analog synthesizer has been sampled and multi-sampled for use in any Sampler or Digital Audio Workstation. Each sample is extended, 3-28 seconds or more, enabling full release control.

Samples recorded on C2-C3-C4-C5 so you can drop them right into your sampler and have instant access to iconic Juno-106 analog sounds. All samples are high quality .WAV files. Produced by Ahnyxian Sound Design exclusively for Reverb SYNC.

This is an older AUDIO recording I did back in 2006 of the
most Trance, Dance, Industrial, EBM, Techno, Acid & Ambient
sounds I had on the ROLAND JP-8000 at the time. This recording
was for sampling purposes...all in 'C' so hit it up if you wish ;)
I loved this synth, customized with the JUPITER-8 sharpie
colored knobs & sliders... LOL :) -what a workhorse at the time!
Still found today in studios all over the world, but it is now RARE
to find one in good to prefect working condition.... :(
It's still in my TOP 10 Favorite Synthesizers Of All Time!
Signature Super Saw makes this synth shine, but it is way
more than just a Trance synthesizer, it can do just about anything!!!!
Get one if you find one in excellent or refurbished condition!!
They run $400-$750 second hand in good working condition!
