ReplyDeletei want green!
ReplyDeleteThe idea of making the faceplate out of a pcb (without any traces) is an interesting one.
ReplyDeleteanon: I was thinking that too. I wonder how much it would cost to get an un-etched piece of material silkscreened. It seems like it would flex a lot, though.
ReplyDeletewho cares if people think your nuts, as long as you believe it :-)
ReplyDeletethat was the first thing i thought of when i saw that too...i should make a panel out of a pcb...I know at Advanced Circuits they do colored Solder Mask (any color) and Silkscreen (any color) so it would be cool to see some neat design using Silkscreen & maybe even some fake copper traces for added beauty
ReplyDeleteThis idea has been done for years.
ReplyDeletePaia used to do it too.
reference link? i'd like to see
