"Correction: The Solina doesn't have 16 voices as is said in the video. It has full polyphony. It uses a divide down circuit to give each key it's own voice. It's the same technology that was used in organs and the Korg PS-series."

ReplyDeleteBeautiful sounding synth, I'm happy to discover what instrument was responsible for that particular 70's string sound. Oh and btw Dave that Logan's Run quip damn near made me poop myself!

ReplyDeleteI've got to get me one of these things. It's an incredible-sounding string. They got it right pretty early in the game, too. Seems like we've been playing catch-up ever since. Like the damn moon landing or something.
