"Correction: The Solina doesn't have 16 voices as is said in the video. It has full polyphony. It uses a divide down circuit to give each key it's own voice. It's the same technology that was used in organs and the Korg PS-series."

ReplyDeleteI've got to get me one of these things. It's an incredible-sounding string. They got it right pretty early in the game, too. Seems like we've been playing catch-up ever since. Like the damn moon landing or something.
