ReplyDeleteThanks. Updated. I also had iPone instead of iPhone in the title, so I corrected that as well.
ReplyDeletenow, retake the exact pictures, so that your pictures are in the pictures on the iphone. Then Matrix can update the pics. You can both keep doing this until the infinity makes our heads explode. That will be fun.
ReplyDeleteYes, fun.
ReplyDeletejust one question? isn't it very expensive to surf on the iPhone or do they offer some sort of flat rate?
ReplyDeleteespecially this blog has lots of images etc,..
(just a real serious question since there is some1 using the iphone.. and over here in germany we'll get it late 2007.. often there are x cent per MB, so in fact it makes surfing almost expensive.)
right or wrong? cool to surf on the iPhone and is it ok for some1 who isn't that rich?..
sorry to step into but it seems on topic on this post.. ;)
Actually the plans in the US are very reasonable. And no, you don't have to pay per MB... Not only did Apple make an amazing computer / phone but they were very smart about their pricing.

thanks, thats what I was looking for, we have to wait what they will do over here, if it's affordable and at least unlimited it is worth it, you do not need to be a .mac member (means adds more cost) or it's already part of the package, then..
ReplyDeletebut the traffic thing is very ok. ok, one could discuss the overall cost, but it's nice to have REAL web access without the fear of getting very poor..
myspace should work as soon as apple has a flash player up for the iphone - I only wonder, why they have only 8GB for music..
anyway, I wasn't that clever to just check the us apple store ;)
8gigs seems fine to me. My first computer / laptop in 2001 was a 400MHz G4 TiBook with 10 gigs. The other thing to remember is there isn't a spinning hard drive in there, solid state memory is the future!!!! Overall, do you really need more then 8 gigs of music during any given day? I think the plus sides of the iPhone really outweigh any possible "negative".
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if you can use it at a wife hotspot without having a data plan? I kind of want one for browsing at hotspots, but I don't want to pay for a data plan.
ReplyDeleteI am completely with you about HDDs, they are faster and there's no spinning wheel inside, no mechanics is always better (I still have a DAT btw, but..)
ReplyDeletehmm, when I check my music files I am at more than 8 GB but of course you can live with 8 GB of music. anyway, I hope for a nice UMPC running real OS X, thats a real portable computer, the iphone is, but I am missing midi and a sequencer in it ;)
Two things I wish it had are an FM tuner for when I just want to listen to the radio on my walks and a subscription model for music like Napster. I love being able to download and try stuff out on the fly for a measly $15 a month.

I just bought an iPhone today. It was a spontaneous purchase. After playing with it for 30 minutes, I just had to own this elegant piece of very practical technology.
ReplyDeleteThe WiFi capability is so cool - web pages load crisply using my home network. Re: your question, Matrix, there's nothing to indicate that iPhone users won't have to pay for wireless networks, although there often seem to be unsecured ones around to jump on to.
