Gregorius: NMKY (Finnish YMCA cover)

YouTube via rabahiff. ARP Axxe.
"Tanssi- ja liikuntaesitys (Hepskukkuu, 1979) "dance and exercise number" Finnish cover of Village People's big hit YMCA, from 1979" Update: Oh wait, I almost forgot the Synth Babes label for this one.

  2. On bass (I'm told): Pekka Pohjola, Mike Oldfield's buddy (fresh from the 1978 tour, released as the live album "Exposed"). The Arpist may just be Olli Ahvenlahti, a legend in his own right. Don't know who the singer is, but I think I might've seen him somewhere. It's not a big country.

    Secondly, WTF?

  4. Without hyperbole, I can honestly say that was the most awesome thing I'll ever see in my entire life.

  5. Yeah, indeed. It's an Axxe.
For some strange reason I like this video.

(Doesn't have anything to do with the fact that I'm Finnish)

  7. I love Finland.

Just last week I picked up a bunch of antlers from various beasties in Finland, as well as some nice Finnish knives.

As well as licorice with salt and ammonia in it.

    Yay Finland!

  11. Yeah, I think the drummer likes the little sidestep swoop they do. Post updated to reflect it's an Axxe.
