'Strings of life' by Derrick May, not Kevin Saunderson.
ReplyDeleteIts actually by M. James but Derrick got famous for putting it together and releasing it on Transmat. Heres the story: Michael James, a friend of Derrick May lived close by dropped by for a visit at May's house and sat down to play a ballet piece he had been working on. This piece went into Derrick's sequencer and was kept there until Derrick decided to hear trough it. He found some interesting pieces and started to work with it adding beats and strings.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info pac. I am a little disappointed now, knowing that Derrick May didn't compose it. Still a brilliant song and arrangement!
