Killing a Machinedrum-loop with Metaphysical Function

YouTube via salzmanufaktur
"Metaphysical Function was the most stunning app in Native Instruments legendary "Electronic Instruments2XT" bundle. This bundle also contains the ultra cool drum sampler named "Krypt" and "Limelight" as well.

Unfortunately this bundle is out of sale and discontinued. You can check out the specs here:

I don't know if these tools are working on OS X Leo or Vista. So I'm sticking with my good ol' G5 Powermac to keep them running on Tiger."

  1. I got EI2 for Metaphysical Function alone....an amazing grouping of ensembles, well worth the $$. I'm sure you can still find it somewhere.

  2. the metaphysical function is also included with the KORE Soundpack - Reaktor Animated Circuits..

  3. Compatibility is never a problem; EI2 gives you both the standalone versions and the ensembles, so as long as Reaktor is supported on multiple platforms, EI2 will be fine.

  4. I'm using Reaktor 4, which NI says is not supported on os x 10.5.6. Unfortunately, they're right... :-( It'll open up, but freezes if I try to change a preset... Still love the free version of Metaphysical Function I got as an NI Christmas present a few years ago. Just have to start up in 10.2.8...
