ReplyDeleteNot sure if it's the same space or not, don't think so as I remember it being painted black, but Orbital used to have a studio in "The Metway". The Metway is a building in Brighton owned by, wait for it trivia fans, erstwhile soap dodgers "The Levellers". They used to hire out the various rooms to non-profit organisations and interesting types in general. Rumour has it they've cashed in their chips and are selling the building to property developers who will turn it into luxury flats. Very "anarchic" I must say ;-) It might only be rumour of course.
