"akai ewi4000s is modified with a highlyliquid midi cpu. the cpu is set up to measure tilt into midi values and has several triggers for midi relays, sequencer controls, and triggering options for the light based theremin.

the ewi is independantly controlling 2 voices of dsi evolvers and 2 voices of a circuit bent nanosynth.

  1. Is this system capable of producing any sounds that would be more conventionally considered "musical"? I hear a lot of noise with occasional bursts of (heavily modulated) tonality. Not really an effective demo of the EWI4000S, the MIDI CPU, or the synths, IMHO.
