What absolute rubbish. Who would take a liking to this soft synth by listening to this?
ReplyDeleteThe majority of ANTsynth's videos are about evolving sound scapes. Usually they feature Absynth which excels at that. I think it's interesting to hear the Prophet V used in this way. I particularly like the Cielo and 1981 demos. I should have started with them. I updated the post to have them first.
ReplyDeleteI also made ANTsynth in the "YouTube Uploaded by ANTsynth" below the first video a link to his others featured on the site.
ReplyDeleteThank you Matrix. I wanted to experiment with the Prophet V. I like the aliasing sound and that's what i was trying to capture in the last video (FGRL 1). I recorded a basic chord progression and just let the foldback take over make it part of the timbre.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome. BTW, I should say your demos seriously make me want to pick up ABSynth. I haven't picked it up yet as after a long day on the computer I need a brake from it and usually turn to hardware or the iPad as the iPad feels like hardware to me. I keep hoping NI will release ABSynth for the iPad.
ReplyDeleteThat should have been "break" although I guess "brake" applies as well. Sometimes I do feel like slowing down. :)
ReplyDeleteWow! if NI came out with a ipad version that would be amazing. Absynth is just so inspiring . I sometimes cant believe how deep you can get with it. I feel like it's almost more like a Daw. Anything can be achieved using those 68 break point envelopes. I thank you always for the support you have given my work!
