Future World Orchestra - Desire (1982)

YouTube Uploaded by favavideochannel on Jan 8, 2011

"Versione da "Discoring" RAI 1982"

Oberheim Four Voice System & KORG PS3300 on top of Polymoog.

In the following video it looks like they have a KORG PS3100 as well. Not sure what the Casio violin is. Update via Anon9 in the comments: "Spotted ARP 3620KBD atop the PS3100 in the 2nd video."

  1. Spotted ARP 3620KBD atop the PS3100 in the 2nd video. But where is the 2600 console to go with it?

  2. The synths are just up there to show them off. At the time it didn't matter if it was the whole thing, or just part of a system. All that mattered in these voice over performances was that it looked cool and interesting hence "wireless" Casio "synth" and the "polyphonic" MS-20 ;)

  3. putting a korg 3300 on top of a polymoog - a great way to dislodge all the polymoog voice cards!

  5. I'm glad I didn't see these vids in 1982. I'd definitely have chosen a different instrument. Or abandoned music altogether. I'm actually considering one or both of these options now. Thanks a lot, YouTube
