The gentleman in the beginning is Nobuyoshi Sano, the man that created the DS10 and M01. Via Wikipedia:

"Nobuyoshi Sano (佐野 信義 Sano Nobuyoshi?, born January 19, 1969) is a Japanese video game composer, musician and record producer most famous for scoring some songs for Ridge Racer and Tekken series, most notably Tekken 3, where he composed most of the soundtrack. He worked for Namco and Cavia, he actually works for the company Detune, he designed and produced (his first work as producer) the music software KORG DS-10 for Nintendo DS.[1] The band Trio the DS-10 was formed consisting of himself, Yasunori Mitsuda and Michio Okamiya for the promotion of the video game.[2] He also composed the theme of Tokyo Café for the French TV channel Nolife. He cited Underworld and Yellow Magic Orchestra as his favorite musical bands. This led to him becoming a member of "Oriental Magnetic Yellow" (OMY), a music band that parodied Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) and produced parody cover versions of their music.[3] Some of his music has been featured in the Beatmania IIDX series of video games."
