"2011年、ミュージック・ワークステーションKRONOSが誕生。そのサウンドを体験した誰もが「電子楽器もここまで来たか...」と驚き、そしてしばらくすると「もうこれ以上のものは、当分出てこないのでは？」と思ったのではないでしょうか。しかしコルグはこの1年の間に、システムのバージョン・アップやKRONOS専用の追加音色ライブラリー「KRONOS Sound Libraries」を立て続けにリリースし、KRONOSの完成度を一層高めることに努めました。
そして2012年、KRONOSはその地位に安堵することなく、更なる進化を続けます。内蔵メモリー容量やSSDのサイズをアップし、サンプラー機能を充実させて「今できる全ての技術を惜しげもなく注ぎ込んだ」究極のワークステーション。その名前には新たに、未知の可能性を意味する「X」の文字を加えました。
誰も知らない音の未来へ。ミュージック・ワークステーション、KRONOS X新登場。
