"Took me a few goes, but I finally got it!
This one is a sort of upbeat sequel to Acid in my Head.
This is my new dual Octatrack setup. Octatrack 1 is drums, 2 is instruments. Kaossilator pro for swooshes etc, Quad Pad for multi fx.
The Behringer NOX 606 mixer is set up so when the crossfader is to the left the OT's pass through a filter each. When it is to the right the Quad Pad's audio is output, emulating the OT's own crossfader scenes!
This track was written in FL Studio prior to being brought across to the OT's. I rendered one shots, loops and multi-sampled instruments then re-sequenced it all. It takes a long time, but is very rewarding and flexible.
I'm building up more material for a gig I have next month, so expect some more videos while I practice.
