"The Shruthi-1 is a powerful hybrid monophonic DIY Synthesizer designed by French synth guru Olivier Gillet. It uses digital wavetable oscillators and an analog filter.
The unit up for auction here uses the rare CEM3379 filter board based on a vintage Curtis CEM3379 filter chip, which was also used in the Sequential Circuits Prophet 2000 and the Ensonic ESQ1 and SQ-80. Due to the rarity of these chips, this filter board has been discontinued for quite a while.
Some basic specs:
2x digital oscillators with lots of different wave forms/oscillator models and cross modulation types (among them VCO sync, ring modulation, XOR-modulation)
digital sub oscillator, noise, attack generator (click, blow, ...)
CEM3379 24dB/Oct lowpass filter
2x LFO
2x ADSR envelopes
12x modulation matrix
arpeggiator
Modulation step sequencer
Audio input and output
MIDI in and out

The unit on offer here was carefully built and calibrated and is fully working. It comes with the latest firmware version 0.97 installed. There are some traces of use on the acrylic enclosure (some light scratches), but all in all it is in pretty good cosmetic condition..."
