Death chains (A Cinematic Dreamscape)

"This is part of a dream I had about a fierce Giant slowly having to drag huge pieces of rusty chain around an empty mildewed warehouse. The walls of which flexed in the wind and sounded like slightly wrapped church bells. To capture the grittiness of the scene I used a piezo mic into a tiny marshal amp. From it I sampled 2 different size springs, a flexible piece of tin and a metal lamp shade. I processed each sound individually with a different assortment of effects pedals. I used the Octatrack and loads of parameter locks to effect, pitch shift and eventually resample the sounds. I am constantly trying to evolve how I work and what I make. I am always open to your thoughts and suggestions and as always questions."
