"14x Modifications via:

12x RCA Patch Points.
2x SPDT Switches (on-off)

Vintage Akai Sampler - Released in 1993. Used by Daft Punk and many others I'm sure.

This unit has an expansion board installed to double the sampling time to over 30 seconds.
16-bit, 3.5" floppy disk (5x brand new disks provided), no SCSI interface.

Playback and sampling can be controlled via footswitch (provided).

Essentially this is a gutted old Akai Tuner (Radio) bolted into place, with 12x patch points and 2x Switches mounted to the front panel.

This design allows the user to use the unit in a rack (should they choose to do so).

A great sampler, clean, analog, crunchy, drop the sample rate to get some really cool sounds. You are also able to reverse, edit and loop samples..

5 brand new disks included (along with 2x coloured patch cables, and power charger).
------

In bent form, expect splicing, chopping, bizarre filters, ring modulation, bit crushing, distortion, time stretching, EQ. All kinds of audio savagery..

Your sample will return to unbent when switches are returned to a neutral position. Completely stable and very user friendly."
