VCV Rack & Midilar - Solitary

Published on Dec 25, 2018 Omri Cohen

"In this patch, I've used a couple of VST Instruments, utilizing the new VCV module Host. I've used Una Corda together with Marbles for creating some random Piano notes, I've used a string library with the sustain pedal on for adding a low chord, which also goes through Clouds (of course), and I've also used a drum library together with the Turing Machine for some repetitive patterns. I've also added to this mix the nightmare synthesizer, Incubus from Vult, which is controlled by Stages, and the XFX Wave oscillator from Blamsoft, for a nice moving lead voice. I control the level of the different voices with my MIDI keyboard, and some parameters like crush amount and filter cutoff with the Midilar controller."
