"Oberheim OB-XA Synthesizer, and flight case. The item is in great condition.Everything is working great. No major scuffs or marks, no broken keys.
Synth chaser Power Supply Capacitor & Rebuild Kit & Oberheim OB-Xa Voice Card Ultimate Service Kit installItem has been calibrated by a tech as well.
The OB-Xa was the successor to the OB-X and contains much more versatile features such as split and double (layer) modes, filter envelope VCO modulation, and a CEM based architecture.
Work done to it to accomplish this and other stability improvements:
- All voice cards removed, recapped, and new 28 turn INIT tuning trimmers added
- Re cap PSU and add multi turn trim pots for the -5 and +15 lines
- Replace common failing DIP switch on front panel, clean all pots
- Full calibration of all computer functions and analog functions
- Repair as needed, of course.
Condition wise, this is a fine OBXA. All cards are nice
Otherwise and in general, the machine is a great shape, especially for its age."
