Dave Smith: A tribute to his legacy

"We pay tribute to Dave Smith, one of the giants in the development and evolution of synthesizers. He sadly and suddenly passed away this week. We review his history with Sequential Circuits in the 1970s and 1980s, and the revival with new synthesizers under the name Dave Smith Instruments and a revived Sequential. I also relate the way our paths crossed, and how he was always a kind, generous and decent person. Dave Smith will be very missed; we send our thoughts to his family, friends and colleagues.
