A newer box from Reon. Based on the videos below it first appeared in 2021. The following are some details followed by the videos.

"It is a rhythm machine that pursues the enjoyment of sound making and playing from the perspective unique to REON. You can create sounds by combining REON's original FM sound source, sampled sound source, analog sound source (noise, VCF, Envelope), and delay that can be created with a simple knob operation. It is on display at the store!

○ Features

Create a pattern by arranging 4 MC sound sources (sample sound sources) to be played from the card, 8 tones created by FM, and 3 sound sources of NOISE in steps for each sound source.

REON's original FM sound source part can be easily created with a simple knob operation

MC sound source (sample sound source) is saved and played on the SD card by computer or main unit sampling. Pitch control is possible with bit crash and knob / sequence

Equipped with analog sound source section of NOISE, VCF, VCA, panpot, delay configuration

The 16-step sequencer has a knob above the GATE button to support control of various parameters.

Knob Recording function to remember the movement of the knob

Equipped with two CV IN terminals. Selectable parameters can be controlled by CV

Delay that can oscillate radically can specify the step to apply the effect

Various functions will be added in the future by updating the firmware"

Cistron, the latest product from the Japanese company Reon, is a rhythm machine that uses FM synthesis and sampling.
The FM synthesis function stores 8 tone settings and allows you to assign any tone to each step.
The Sampling function is independent and allows you to assign four voices to each step.
Pitch, Decay, Pan, On/Off of the built-in Delay, etc. can be set for each step.
With the latest firmware, it also supports Roll function and pattern chaining."
