Can You Hear The Music (Synth Version) - Oppenheimer soundtrack

video upload by Karel Smit

"This is my third Ludwig Goransson cover after the Mandalorian Theme and Redbone by Childish Gambino. Amazing what a versatile musician he is.
This is by far the most popular song of the Oppenheimer soundtrack and rightly so I would say. Transcribing and setting everything up in midi was kind of hellish, considering the 21 tempo changes in the song. I sort of gave up back in August but decided to finish it anyway and happy with the result!

Some notes on the set-up:
I've routed midi tracks to the keystep pro to control my analogue synths, besides also adding a lot of soft synths form the Massive plugin. This was my first dive into the Massive library and I have to say it's amazing! As far as soft synths go, I can imagine you wouldn't need anything else.

- Main melody/Counter Melody: Prophet Rev2 Preset Double Impact (F2P72) with some tweaks + Herby & Bender Massive Preset in 2 different octaves
- High bells (violin plucks in the original): Bellclarinet Massive Preset
- Bass: Mother32 + Analogue Classique 2 Massive Preset
- Chord stabs: Call In The Air Massive Preset
- Low chord stabs final part: Elevator Massive Preset
- High violins final part: Drifter + Splendor Massive Preset
- Lead: Korg Minilogue xd Vreeuw preset with some tweaks + Minibrute 2s + 4 different Massive Presets that are added gradually: Square Crisp, Square Crisp octave higher, Widen, Bursted Flute"
