Aureate 📀 (Sequential Take 5 // Elektron Digitone + Red Panda Particle + Strymon Deco 2) Chords Jam

video upload by 2-Minute Warning

"No sequencers were harmed during this recording! 😄 Just wanted to roam with some chords played live on the Take 5 analog synth. Further on I introduced the Digitone FM synth where I used 3 tracks (with 3 different sounds), where 2 of the tracks have their integrated ARPEGGIO enabled, with different settings in order to add some rhythmic complexity to the jam 🥁

The Digitone is being fed into the Particle 2 granular delay then the Deco pedal, in order to add random variations to the FM sounds and some kind of LO-FI vibes!

The MIDI Out of the Take 5 synth is triggering the Digitone. Hence both synths are playing the same notes. However the 2 ARPs on the Digitone help bring the syncopated sounds.

I think that the blending of the analog and digital synths here, makes the global sound and texture of this jam sound quite interesting! Hope you liked it too? 😊

* Hardware used *

// PADS:
- Sequential Take 5 (5-voice analog synth)

// CHIMES:
- Elektron Digitone (8-voice FM groovebox) + Red Panda Particle 2 (granular delay and pitch shifter) + Strymon Deco 2 (tape saturation & doubletracker)"
