video upload by Jonathan Knightsnare

"At Superbooth 2025, I had the pleasure of meeting Pete, the inventive mind behind Kabaragoya, and exploring his groundbreaking creation: the Storm Summoner. This touch-based MIDI controller is designed to revolutionize how musicians interact with their effects pedals, offering expressive command over presets, modulation, and timing.

Key Features:

8-Zone Capacitive Touch Wheel: Provides intuitive control over various parameters, allowing for dynamic expression during performances.

Four Assignable Buttons: Customize these buttons to cycle through values, trigger patterns, or generate random settings with each tap.

Proximity and Ambient Light Sensors: Assign these sensors to control parameters, adding a new dimension of responsiveness to your setup.

Expression Pedal Jack: Integrate traditional foot control for added versatility.

3.5mm CV/Analog Clock Sync Input: Seamlessly sync with modular systems or other gear.

USB MIDI and ¼" TRS MIDI Output: Connect to any pedal supporting MIDI, regardless of Type A/B polarity—no additional MIDI box required.

Tripod Mounting: Attach the Storm Summoner to a microphone stand, drum rack, or lighting board for optimal positioning.

Open-Source Firmware: Easily update the device via drag-and-drop over USB and contribute to its development on GitHub.
