Asynchronous Minimal Ambient with OP-1 field and norns shield | Confluence 2026-03-06 by atnr

"A piece created with @teenageengineering OP-1 field, @KORG_INC NTS-1, and norns shield. It is minimal ambient where overlapping asynchronous phrases gradually change.
On the OP-1 field, a 38 step phrase runs with the ENDLESS sequencer while reverb from @strymon blueSky is applied.
On the NTS-1, a square wave tone shaped with a filter is processed with delay and reverb, and sequenced by the SQ-1.
On the norns shield, a piano phrase is recorded into Graintopia with slight distortion and processed with granular synthesis. Delay and reverb from @ChaseBlissAudio LOST+FOUND are applied.
The three sound sources run without synchronization. Their timing differences create subtle changes in the evolving sound texture."
